Code of Conduct

By attending MUZZLED events, you agree to adhere to the following terms and rules to ensure a respectful, safe, and enjoyable environment for all participants. All rules that apply in the Telegram chat also apply to in-person events.

1. Consent is MANDATORY

Consent is MANDATORY at all times during the event. This is the most important rule for both the chat and actual MUZZLED events. Consent must be obtained on a case-by-case basis for any interaction, including physical touch, photographs, and other forms of engagement. Simply showing up to the event is not consent for any form of interaction.

  • Physical Contact: Always ask for permission before touching anyone. This includes hugs, handshakes, and any other form of physical contact.

  • Photography: Ask for explicit consent before taking someone's photo. Even though you may appear in photos taken by other attendees or the event organizers, it is respectful to gain permission first. If someone declines, move on and respect their boundaries.

  • Case-by-Case Consent: Consent must be granted for each individual interaction. Participation in the event does not automatically mean consent for physical or visual engagement.

2. Venue & Attire Guidelines

While MUZZLED encourages personal expression, it is important to respect the venue and other attendees. Please adhere to the following attire guidelines to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

  • Lower Half Nudity: Exposed genitals or lower half nudity are strictly prohibited. Attendees must wear something over their underwear, such as pants, shorts, fursuit, or similar attire. If wearing underwear is exposed, keep it tasteful and respectful. Use your discretion to determine what is appropriate.

  • Upper Half Nudity: Toplessness is permitted for all attendees regardless of gender identity. However, please be mindful when moving about the venue and interacting with others. Security is informed that top nudity may occur, but remember that if you need assistance, it could put staff in an awkward position.

  • Footwear: For safety reasons, footwear must be worn at all times. If you have fursuit sandals or outdoor feet paws, please wear them in place of regular shoes. This rule may change at the discretion of the Venue.

  • Entering the Venue: All attendees must be fully clothed when entering the venue.

3. Respect for Property

Please respect the personal belongings of other attendees and the venue. Do not damage, steal, or use someone else’s property without their explicit permission.

  • Liability: While the event is closed to ticket holders only, MUZZLED and the Venue will not be held responsible for any theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings brought to the event. You are fully responsible for any items you bring into the event.
     

4. Right to Refuse Service

MUZZLED and the venue reserves the right to remove any attendee from the event if their actions, behavior, or participation disrupt the event or the enjoyment of others.

  • Disruptive Behavior: If an attendee's actions are deemed disruptive or dangerous to themselves or others, they may be removed from the event at the discretion of the organizers.

  • Right to Refuse Entry: MUZZLED and the venue also reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual without the need for disclosure of reason.

  • Capacity Limit: The venue has a set capacity limit. Once this limit is reached, the venue reserves the right to turn away any further attendees. You accept the risk of being denied entry due to capacity limits.

5. Prohibited Items and Activities

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, certain items and activities are prohibited at the event.

  • Outside Drinks: No outside beverages are allowed inside the venue. All drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, must be purchased from the venue’s bar.

  • Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue. Please utilize designated outdoor smoking areas.

  • Illegal Substances: No illegal drugs or substances may be brought to the event. THC is permitted but must be smoked or vaped at least 9 feet away from any entrance.

  • Maintenance Materials: Glitter, confetti, and other items that cause significant cleanup are prohibited.

  • Large Bags: Fursuit totes, suitcases, or large kits are not allowed unless they can be neatly folded and stored. Fursuits should be brought in foldable bags, like an IKEA bag or similar size and softness.
     

6. Photography and Recording

We encourage responsible photography, but respect for others' comfort and privacy is paramount.

  • Consent for Photography: Always ask for permission before taking photos or videos of others. If someone declines, step away without argument.

  • Event Photography: By attending the event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed or filmed by the event organizers or other attendees. These photos may appear online and be shared publicly.

  • Recording Limitations: Any photography or videography shared publicly should respect the privacy and consent of others involved.

 

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

MUZZLED provides the event "as-is" and makes no warranties regarding any aspect of the event or materials offered. The event organizers and the venue disclaim any implied warranties, and liability is limited as follows:

  • Liability Limitations: Neither MUZZLED, its organizers, nor the venue will be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your attendance at the event.

  • Maximum Liability: The maximum liability for any claims arising from the event will be limited to the amount paid by the attendee for the event ticket.
     

By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms, ensuring a respectful, safe, and enjoyable experience for all.
